 the setting for this summer wedding could not have been more beautiful with the lake in the background.  the fresh flowers were exqusite and inside was a decadent chocolate and raspberry cake

red and black wedding

the cake and cupcakes were a rich devils food with a mocha buttercream,  one of my favourite combinations. it took a bit of work to get the flowers for the cupcakes just right so that they looked light and airy, but it was worth the time and effort

80th birthday celebration

the colours of these flowers remind me of poppies, very appropriate for this time of year. inside is a dark moist chocolate cake layered with mocha buttercream and raspberry preserves
